Digital twins

Intelligent models of real environments

A digital twin is only useful if it stays true. DANA builds twins that update themselves from imagery and sensors, and reason about what they see.

Most digital twins are accurate on the day they are delivered and drift from that moment on. The gap between the model and the world reopens because keeping it closed means constant, manual re-survey. DANA approaches twins from the other direction: imagery and sensor feeds come in continuously, computer vision extracts what changed, and the twin updates itself — with every update georeferenced, timestamped, and traceable to the observation that caused it.

What goes into a twin

  • GIS and base spatial data
  • Satellite, aerial, and street-level imagery
  • Sensor and IoT feeds
  • Computer vision and AI models
  • Temporal history of every feature
  • 3D and geospatial representation
