DANA Artificial Intelligence builds practical AI systems for understanding and managing the physical world.

DANA was created as the artificial intelligence arm alongside a parent company whose core product and expertise is WebGIS. That origin sets our domain: we are not a general-purpose AI company, and our work is not chatbots. We build systems that read imagery, maps, and spatial data, and produce answers that hold up operationally.

The work sits at the intersection of artificial intelligence, GIS, computer vision, remote sensing, and digital twins. Models analyse satellite and aerial imagery; computer vision detects infrastructure and assets; GIS supplies the spatial context that makes a prediction meaningful; spatial analysis validates it. Each part is ordinary on its own. The value is in the combination, and in the discipline applied to the output.

We are research-driven but not academic. A model that scores well and cannot be inspected, exported, or trusted by an analyst has not finished its job.

Two companies, two roles, one spatial stack.

The parent company builds and operates the WebGIS platform: the spatial foundation where data is managed, served, and used. DANA builds the intelligence that runs on top of spatial data — detection, change, validation, ranking, and the models behind them. The two work well together, and DANA is not a department of the other: it is an AI technology company with its own identity, and it works with whatever GIS stack a client already runs.
